If you choose to generate with AI, your API key is stored in sessionStorage only. It clears when you close this tab. It is never logged, never stored, never sent anywhere except the Anthropic API directly from your browser. You can verify this in the page source.

Your answers live in localStorage on this device. They do not sync. They do not leave your browser. Clearing browser data removes them. Export any time for a permanent copy.
